Carter continued to stay at Bewingham. There were a lot of patients here that needed to be treated. All of them were Synchronization for the Shadow Apothecary.

He also had some experiment that he would like to conduct.

The new variation of Corrupted Blood inside the Mindless Infected.

Inside his office, Carter took a look at a blood sample through his microscope.

’Hmm?’

He noticed something very particular about this new blood. Previously, Black Blood would pull the patients into deep water and killed them slowly. Once they’re dead, the Corrupted Blood took over to control their body, making them Undead.

The Undead could move even if their heads were cut off and each of their limbs could operate independently. This was because the actual control center of the body was the Corrupted Blood.

This new variation, however, developed on this ability even more. Each blood cell had become its own living organism.

’So that’s why the blood moved like maggots. They are literally microscopic maggots.’

This blood variation reminded Carter of the Parasitic Blood that he had given to Dracula.

With Parasitic Blood, Dracula’s Blood power was enhanced once more. Each blood cell was also its own living organism. But they were parasites and fed off the body of the host.

Originally, Dracula’s Blood only caused a human to become a vampire. His Undead Authority allowed him control over them.

Now, with these parasites in their body, Dracula could literally explode any offspring of his if he wanted.

’Parasitic Blood and this new variation are very similar... But the life force of this blood is much greater while Parasitic Blood is technically only a part of Dracula. I wonder...’

Carter wanted to fuse the two blood together.

The pale man with dark hair returned. He sliced his finger with his sharp nail and dropped a little bit onto the glass panel.

Then he returned to the white doctor.

Carter first let the two blood came into contact. Dracula’s Parasitic Blood outright deleted the new Corrupted Blood. They couldn’t coexist or form a relationship.

’These Corrupted Blood is still too weak. I need more powerful blood. Or even better, if I can catch a Necromancer...’

Carter’s smile widened. He knew what he needed to do.

Carter stayed at the Bewingham Infirmary for a few more days, treating more patients, creating more patients, collecting more Synchronization. At the same time, he was also giving Charles’s group time to get used to their new power.

’Good. Now all I need to do is just completed that Destiny and Frankenstein will become a Champion. I should find a way to get Dracula to 1000% also.’

Carter visited the trio. Charles, Peter, and Florence had been familiarizing themselves with Awaken Adrenaline the last few days.

They couldn’t enhance their power ten times or twenty times yet. But four or five times was more than enough.

Not even that, all of their based aspects were increased also.

The trio was currently training in the courtyard of the Infirmary, where many patients were also hanging around.

When Carter entered, they were running across the yard in a superhuman speed. It was still too slow for him.

"How are you guys feeling?" Carter said.

"Never better!" Charles approached Carter. His face was filled with sweat.

Carter nodded. "I will leave for Luandon soon. You guys want to tag along?"

Peter frowned, "The situation in Luandon is extremely bad recently. I heard that it was currently in a lock-down because of the Black Blood pandemic."

"That’s right. But we have to go there. It is where all the supernatural tribes of this world focus on. Beside, we need to find the Dark Coven to deal with them once and for all. Otherwise, Florence will always be hunted." Carter said.

"He’s right. We can’t run forever. We need to bring the fight to them." Florence said.

"I am a registered physician in the Enthrall Institute. Don’t worry, I can find a place for all three of you in the Institute once we’re there."

Carter also needed to visit his Evening Social Club and the City of Ghost. He wanted to check the current situation of the vampire.

The trio prepared to leave. As for Carter, he returned to his office where no one could see and took out a doll.

Carter changed into the pale man while the doll in his hand jumped out and transformed into Frankenstein.

Then, a second shadow detached from Carter’s shadow and wrapped around the Doll. This shadow belonged to another poor soul that he killed the night before. A nobody that was going to die soon so Carter took his shadow.

The Doll was a good multi-role tactic but its appearance was too noticeable.

Thankfully, Carter had just received a new ability to deal with that.

The shadow transformed the silver hair of the Doll back to its original color and covered up all the scars. Shadow Force was that good. Not even his shadows could transform, it could also stick itself onto another being to disguise them.

The Doll examined himself. Everything looked perfect.

"They shouldn’t be able to notice the difference." The Doll said.

"That’s right. But remember. You do not have Adrenaline anymore."

"Of course, original. I will make sure they don’t notice the discrepancy."

And with that, Carter parted his way with the Doll.

Carter’s own shadow stood up this time and wrapped around him. Carter transformed into a bat and flew out of the window.
