Chapter 75 Soojung, Sulli: I'm wronged!
Chapter 75 Soojung, Sulli: I'm wronged!
September 19th, 7:30 AM.
In Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province, the lights were already on in a large photography studio.
Today we're filming the GMV of LG Electronics' new Chocolate phone here.
This is not an ordinary GG video, but a large-scale project that LG has invested heavily in preparing for this strategic model.
Girls' Generation and f(x), who recently debuted, will both participate in the shoot. One will take a white, retro, and elegant girlish route, while the other will take a black, electronic, and more powerful cool route.
Two sets of compositions, two different arrangements, and two different visual styles—all of them had to be completed in the same studio.
Girls' Generation arrived at the filming location first.
Their basic makeup and hair had already been done in advance, and they only needed to make final adjustments based on the lighting and camera effects before the actual shoot.
During the break before filming officially began, the nine people each passed the time in their own way.
Jessica leaned back on the sofa, her coat casually draped over her lap, still looking a little sleepy.
Taeyeon sat next to her, looking rather downcast, much like Jessica had a few days ago.
She would occasionally grab an apple-flavored gummy candy and pop it into her mouth, biting it hard.
Sooyoung, Hyoyeon, and Yuri huddled together on the other side, chatting about something, the three of them laughing in hushed tones.
Yoona pulled Seohyun to sit in the corner, talking animatedly and gesturing with her little hands.
As Xiaoxian listened, his eyes gradually widened.
"So, the senior didn't kick you out?"
Pani was standing in front of the mirror, mimicking the poses she would be using for the upcoming shoot, silently counting the beats.
After confirming that there were no problems with her movements, she turned to look at Soon-kyu beside her.
"I heard from my manager that the junior group is coming over later?"
As she spoke, she blinked uncertainly.
"Do we have to film on both sides today? Even if that's the case, shouldn't the times be staggered a bit?"
Sun-kyu, who was looking at his phone, looked up when he heard the sound.
"It's a bit unreasonable."
She tossed her phone aside, got up and wandered around the waiting area for a bit, then looked up towards the shooting area.
The lighting crew was still adjusting the light positions, the photography crew was doing a final check around the tracks and camera positions, and the art department was repeatedly confirming the positions of the set and props.
The on-site assistant was carrying the shooting schedule and communicating between the various groups. Everyone was busy with the final preparations.
The camera, tracks, lighting, set design—everything seems to be in place.
The only person who should be there most hasn't shown up yet.
Sun-kyu watched for a while with his arms crossed, then muttered to himself:
"Strange, hasn't the director arrived yet?"
No sooner had he finished speaking than a commotion was heard at the entrance of the photography studio.
f(x) has arrived.
Five people followed their manager, Kim Min-soo, into the room. They were all wearing large coats, and their already changed-up photoshoot outfits were vaguely visible underneath.
They seemed to be whispering something the whole way, and when they entered the shed, their voices hadn't completely stopped.
The agent turned around and whispered a reminder.
Victoria Song was the first to react, and her expression immediately became more composed. The other children also fell silent.
They first bowed and greeted the staff on site, then quickly turned to Girls' Generation.
"Hello, seniors, we are f(x)."
As a newly debuted group, they dared not be careless at all when they arrived at the GGMV shooting location, let alone when their seniors from the same company were in front of them.
Girls' Generation responded to them with smiles.
Although the two groups debuted more than two years apart, they both came from SM Entertainment, and many of the members were already much more familiar with each other than ordinary seniors and juniors.
After a few greetings, the initial awkwardness upon entering the door quickly dissipated.
Taeyeon glanced at Sulli, and Sulli immediately smiled, her eyes crinkling, and obediently stepped forward to call her "Unnie."
Krystal also walked towards her unnie.
f(x) has had a very full schedule since their debut.
Music programs, interviews, radio appearances, practice sessions, and various promotional appearances came one after another, leaving them almost no time to catch their breath.
Since their brief meeting in the waiting room on their debut day, this is the first time in the past two weeks that Jessica and Krystal have had a real opportunity to talk properly.
Jessica pulled her sister in front of her, intending to adjust the collar of her coat to the side for her.
It was originally a very natural movement, but as soon as her fingers touched her collar, her gaze involuntarily moved upwards a little.
Krystal's hair was combed very tightly today, almost touching her scalp, and a red sequined decoration was attached to her side part, extending from her forehead to the top of her head.
Her original appearance was cool and clean, but this change made her look somewhat awkward.
Sika stared at it for a few seconds, then finally frowned.
"Was this look chosen by the company?"
Upon hearing her question, Soojung's face immediately fell.
"Isn't it awful, unnie?"
She raised her hand and touched the sequined decoration on her hair part, complaining somewhat dejectedly:
"My forehead feels bigger."
Taeyeon, who was standing next to her, couldn't help but look at Sulli's two little pigtails and her choppy bangs.
Her lips curved slightly involuntarily, then she forced them back, her expression becoming somewhat subtle.
"Sherry, your look... is quite interesting!"
Shirley's smile vanished instantly.
She sat down next to Taeyeon and asked with a pitiful expression:
"Taeyeon unnie, is mine weird too?"
Taeyeon finally reached out and touched the little tuft of hair on her head.
"This isn't just a matter of whether it's strange or not, this is..."
She couldn't hold back her laughter halfway through her sentence and turned around to laugh out loud.
Then she caught a glimpse of Krystal's tightly slicked-back hair, and her smile widened even more.
"Sherry, are you guys going for a comedic style this time?"
The next second, a rather unrestrained laugh from an older woman echoed from the standby area.
She was in a low mood today, but the two children's exaggerated outfits made her feel much more relaxed.
"Oh, Kim Tae-yeon."
Sika playfully slapped her, but then couldn't help herself and covered her mouth to laugh out loud.
"Unnie, I'm angry!"
"Unnie, you've gone too far!"
Krystal and Sulli cried out almost simultaneously.
The commotion quickly attracted the attention of others.
Once they figured out what they were laughing about, everyone else looked at the two maknaes' hairstyles.
A moment later, several bursts of laughter, which could not be suppressed, rang out in the standby area.
The staff in the other work area also kept looking over, curious about what they were laughing about.
In the end, only the two maknaes were left. One was touching the sequins on her hair parting, and the other was protecting the little tuft of hair on her head, looking extremely aggrieved.
Only Krystal could achieve the world where Sulli was hurt.
