Chapter 64 Lesson
Chapter 64 Lesson
Miyazawa Itsuki silently stepped forward, getting closer step by step.
"Hui-kun!"
Asahina quickly stood up, decisively left her seat, and went straight to his side.
Miyazawa Itsuki gave her a reassuring smile and handed her the ice cream.
"Could you please hold this for me for a moment, Naomi? It'll be quick."
"Okay, okay." Asahina obediently accepted the ice creams, one lemon-colored and the other multicolored, the flavors agreed upon beforehand.
Miyazawa Itsuki, now free of his hands, turned to look at the three people sitting in their seats, who were dumbfounded.
He still had a smile on his face.
But he spoke in a tone completely different from the gentleness he showed Naomi:
"I'm telling you, you guys..."
His pupils were devoid of warmth.
"Who gave you the audacity to harass my girlfriend like this?"
It was a warm afternoon, but at this moment it felt strangely like early winter.
……
Maeda instinctively stood up and took a step back.
"Who...who are you? What business is it of yours if we're catching up with Asahi?"
The man in front of him was completely different from him in terms of appearance, height, and aura.
It's like a level 1 goblin encountering a level 99 demon king—there's an insurmountable gap between them.
It was only because the three of them were together, while Miyazawa Itsuki was alone and didn't seem like a muscular man, that he had the courage to talk to them.
"Really, classmate?"
Miyazawa Itsuki looked at Naomi, who pursed her lips and nodded slightly, but her brows were filled with sorrow.
It's confirmed; he's someone who's not kind to Naomi.
Before Miyazawa Itsuki fully intervened, he had already seen Maeda and the others talking to Naomi from a distance.
Seeing that Naomi didn't immediately show disgust, I assumed it was just a reunion between old acquaintances.
Miyazawa Itsuki stood there, pondering whether he should find a suitable opportunity to enter, or simply wait until Naomi's friends left before returning.
After all, the position of a rented boyfriend is different from that of a normal boyfriend; he cannot do anything that might interfere with the client's daily social interactions.
But then he heard Maeda and the others' rude remarks and realized that they were unwelcome guests.
They were simply taking advantage of Naomi's gentleness and politeness. They thought that by not resorting to insults, they could get what they wanted.
"Excuse me, I don't care if you're Naomi's classmates or anything else."
Miyazawa Itsuki said coldly:
"As Naomi's boyfriend, I'll only say this once: Get out of my girlfriend's sight immediately. Otherwise, you'll face the consequences."
"Hey, isn't that a bit too domineering?"
Another boy said indignantly.
"Exactly, Asahi didn't kick us out, so what reason do you, as her boyfriend, have to say such things?"
"I..." Asahina saw Miyazawa Itsuki being rebuked and was so angry that she gritted her teeth, about to speak.
But Miyazawa Itsuki spoke first, continuing:
"Thank you, but I'm just that domineering. I'm a possessive boyfriend."
Just to be on the safe side, it's best not to let Asahina Omi refuse, but to be the bad guy yourself.
After all, they were Naomi's former classmates and were still on Naomi's social media.
Given the stubbornness of the locals, being humiliated by a woman, these people, who don't seem like magnanimous, would likely harbor resentment.
If Miyazawa Itsuki were to step forward and draw the fire, it would be less likely that the target would be Naomi.
Ultimately, it's all because Naomi [married the wrong person], she met a boyfriend with a very possessive nature.
People will pity her, but the curses will come from Miyazawa Itsuki.
Details determine success or failure; while resolving issues, it's also crucial to maintain a positive social reputation among customers.
Of course, this is based on the premise that Miyazawa Itsuki is unaware of their past with Naomi.
If Miyazawa Itsuki were to find out that they had mocked Naomi and that they were no longer in contact with her, he would simply slap them across the face.
"ha?"
The three were stunned by his blunt words.
Naomi Asahina also fell into a daze.
Maeda grumbled unhappily:
"Hey, Asahi, did you hear that? Your boyfriend is awful! What kind of boyfriend restricts his girlfriend's social interactions like that?"
Naomi Asahina snapped out of her daze.
His expression changed from blank to obedient.
"No..." She naturally took Miyazawa Itsuki's arm, "I'll listen to Teru-kun."
"Maeda, you should leave. I don't want to see you anymore, because Teru-kun hates you."
The three of them, including Maeda, were greatly surprised.
They thought Asahina Omi was still the same timid country girl she used to be, so they planned to attack her from there.
But Miyazawa Itsuki's words completely disrupted their rhythm.
Whether Asahina Omi is timid or not is no longer important; the power of speech lies in the hands of Miyazawa Itsuki, her "boyfriend."
The goal becomes to snatch Asahi, this super beautiful girl, away from her boyfriend.
They looked at Miyazawa Itsuki.
Although they were so handsome that they were the envy of others, they weren't particularly strong physically, which gave them the courage.
Maeda let out a cold laugh through his nose.
"Ah, Asahi, you're quite the actor now. Getting a boyfriend really changes things."
"Back in junior high, you probably wouldn't have even had the courage to talk back, right?"
The boy next to him also said with ill intent:
"Hey, boyfriend, you might not know, but Asahi was super unsophisticated in junior high. We were really kind of us and took the initiative to talk to her back then. Now that she's become pretty, she wants to pretend we don't know each other. What kind of attitude is that?"
"What's this?" Miyazawa Itsuki asked.
"Isn't that ungrateful?" the man added.
Naomi Asahina watched Miyazawa Itsuki's retreating figure with a tense expression.
"Ungrateful?" Miyazawa Itsuki laughed.
"I don't see any evidence that you've done Naomi a favor."
"All I could see was that you were being rude to my girlfriend and even harassing her."
"As boyfriends, what do you think I should do?"
Maeda and the others' expressions changed.
"Aren't you being a bit too pretentious?!"
One of the hot-tempered individuals couldn't stand it any longer and tried to shove Miyazawa Itsuki.
But before his hand could touch Miyazawa Itsuki's clothes, he was dodged to the side.
Miyazawa Itsuki grabbed his wrist with his left hand and flipped it outwards, while simultaneously pulling his right foot forward.
Sakamoto lost his balance, staggered two steps, and knelt on the ground.
My knee hit the brick floor with a dull thud.
"Hey, you actually dare to lay a hand on us?"
Before the person who fell to the ground could react, Maeda had already thrown a punch.
Miyazawa Itsuki did not retreat, but merely turned slightly to the side.
Maeda's fist grazed his ear and missed.
The next second, Miyazawa Itsuki's palm supported Maeda's elbow from below, while his other hand pressed down on Maeda's shoulder, twisting it with the force of Maeda's forward momentum.
Maeda was turned halfway around, his arms were tied behind his back, and his face was forced to press against the floor.
"Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! Let go! Let go now! My arm is going to break!"
Miyazawa Itsuki had no intention of listening to anything he said. He looked down at Maeda's liver-colored profile, his voice cold:
"You started it first; I was only acting in self-defense. There are security cameras here, and everything we just said was recorded. Harassing women and assaulting people—how do you plan to explain this to the park management?"
Only one person remained standing on the field, still clutching an unfinished drink cup, frozen in place.
"And you," Miyazawa Itsuki's gaze shifted to his face, "you can come over now if you want to come together."
The man placed the cup he was holding on the nearby trash can and waved his hand repeatedly.
"No, no, no, senior, how could I dare? I don't know them at all."
After saying that, he didn't even glance at his companions and ran off alone.
Miyazawa released Maeda's hand. Maeda staggered back, clutching his arm, his face a mixture of pain and humiliation.
Sakamoto was still kneeling on the ground, struggling to get up, his knees scraped and his face covered in dirt.
"I don't know how you treated Naomi back in middle school, and I can't change that." Miyazawa Itsuki looked down at them. "But now, Naomi is my girlfriend, and I have an obligation to deal with anything that makes Naomi unhappy."
He raised his hand and pointed to the path leading to the exit behind the three of them.
"Walk this road. If Naomi sees you again, the consequences won't be as simple as just a superficial wound."
Sakamoto scrambled to his feet, exchanging a glance with Maeda.
Maeda looked at Miyazawa Itsuki, opened his mouth as if to say something, but ultimately remained silent.
He grabbed Sakamoto and turned to run away.
The two limped into the crowd and were quickly swallowed up by the passing tourists.
Miyazawa Itsuki lowered his hand and turned to look at Naomi.
Naomi Asahina was still standing there, stunned.
Part of the ice cream in her hand had melted, and the liquid was running down her fingers, but she didn't seem to notice.
"Hui-jun's expression was so fierce when he said those things just now."
"Is that so?" Miyazawa Itsuki reached out and took the almost melted ice cream, bowing his head in apology: "I'm sorry, did I scare Naomi?"
"No." Naomi shook her head vigorously.
"Absolutely not."
Quite the opposite.
She felt that Miyazawa Itsuki at that moment was so dazzling that it was impossible to look directly at him.
