Global Best Actor: Starting with Picking Up Attributes in America

Chapter 60 Legend: Stan Lee

Chapter 60 Legend: Stan Lee

Wow!

"Kate!"

Now the scene is even more lively!

Several male actors were laughing and joking while drinking, and even Tadanobu Asano couldn't help but shake his head with a smile and take a sip.

Chen Xun tried his best to remain calm.

He did indeed stumble upon some chaotic scenes with many people when he was an extra, touched his nose, and drank some alcohol.

Kate watched him drink, smiling like a cat that had just stolen some cream. Under the table, her toe seemed to accidentally brush against the edge of Chen Xun's shoe, but she quickly withdrew it.

Chen Xun's heart skipped a beat, but he remained outwardly calm.

Her favorability rating jumped to 55.

As night deepened, many bottles of wine were empty, and everyone, slightly tipsy and full of gossip, went back to their rooms.

Their relationship has clearly grown much closer!

Chen Xun walked last.

I watched as Kate and Natalie linked arms and chatted and laughed quietly in front of me.

Chris, with his arm around Jamie's shoulder, was still arguing about whether kung fu or boxing was cooler.

The desert nights are becoming less unbearable!

He touched his pocket, where he could still feel a beautifully wrapped fruit candy that Kate had secretly slipped to him during the game.

……

Filming in the New Mexico desert was tough, but there were occasional unexpected surprises.

In the morning, the crew was filming the classic hammer pit scene.

Mjolnir, Thor's hammer, fell into the desert and was discovered by local residents, attracting a crowd to watch and try to budge it, but no one could move it even a little.

Chen Xun, dressed in Fandral's costume, stood a little distance away, waiting to go on stage.

As the staff busily set up the site, the hammer representing the power of Asgard stood alone, stuck in the sand.

Just then!

A small commotion arose on set.

Chen Xun looked up and saw a familiar figure walking over with a smile, accompanied by director Branagh and several producers.

Gray hair, signature glasses, a kind smile...

Stan Lee!

Marvel's legendary creator, and the renowned king of cameo appearances!

Today, he's clearly here to visit the set, and as usual, to leave his mark on the world he helped create.

The atmosphere on set instantly became lively.

Whether they were actors or staff members, everyone showed respect and happy smiles when they saw this old man.

Chris was the first to greet him, giving the old man a firm hug: "It's so good to have you here!"

Stan Lee patted Chris on the back with a chuckle:

"Look who's here! Our strong little Thor! How's it feeling being in the desert?"

"Except for the excessive sand, everything else is fantastic!"

Chris answered loudly.

Director Branagh introduced the main cast to Stan Lee.

When Chen Xun was introduced, Stan Lee adjusted his glasses, carefully examined him, and looked him over with curiosity and admiration in his eyes.

"Ah, you're Fandral! I've seen some clips of you, young man, you're very skilled!"

Chen Xun could clearly see that Stan Lee's favorability rating was [50].

He was quite excited to be praised to his face by this legendary figure, and quickly bowed slightly.

"Thank you. It is an honor to be a part of the world you have created."

"Haha, the world chose you, child."

Stan Lee waved his hand humorously.

Soon, the old man went to prepare for his cameo appearance.

His role today is that of a passing truck driver who sees a group of people gathered around a pit and, driven by curiosity, decides to try and get the strange hammer out.

Filming begins.

A group of local residents took turns trying to pull it up with crowbars, ropes, and even by working together, but the hammer wouldn't budge.

The scene was filled with frustration after various failures and incredible amazement.

It was Stan Lee's turn to take the stage.

He slowly parked his somewhat old-looking pickup truck by the ditch.

He got out of the car, adjusted his glasses, and examined the hammer in the ditch.

His face showed the typical expression of an American seeing something strange.

"What's this? A meteorite?"

He muttered to himself, then turned to the people around him: "Make way, guys, let this old man have a go."

He returned to the vehicle, took out a thick tow rope, skillfully attached one end to the tow hook at the back of the truck, and carefully looped the other end onto the handle of Thor's hammer.

Stan Lee sat back in the driver's seat, fastened his seatbelt, then made a "watch this" face at the air, shifted into reverse, and gently pressed the accelerator.

The pickup truck's engine roared, its tires spinning in the sand, kicking up clouds of dust, but the hammer remained unmoved, of course.

Stan Lee stopped the car, got out, walked to the edge of the pit, and looked at the undamaged hammer.

He took off his glasses, wiped them, and gave a helpless look, shrugging at the camera.

"Okay, looks like this thing isn't mine."

"Cut! Perfect!"

Director Branagh shouted and led the applause.

Applause and laughter erupted on set.

Stan Lee's performance was natural, and also carried his unique sense of humor.

In just a few dozen seconds, he brought to life the image of an ordinary old man who didn't believe in evil but eventually gave in.

The old man walked back happily to accept everyone's congratulations.

He clearly enjoyed the process.

During the next break, Stan Lee sat down to rest in a chair next to the director's monitor.

Director Branagh showed him some previously filmed footage, including the battle in Asgard and scenes on Earth.

Stan Lee watched intently, nodding occasionally.

After watching some clips, Stan Lee said to director Branagh:

"Ken, this young man made a good choice."

He pointed to Chen Xun on the screen.

Director Branagh nodded in agreement:

"Yes, Stan, he puts in the effort and is making rapid progress."

Their conversation wasn't loud, but Chen Xun, who wasn't far away, could vaguely hear some of it.

He felt a warmth in his heart.

Being recognized by someone like Stan Lee feels more exhilarating than receiving any paycheck.

At that moment, Stan Lee seemed to sense something, and he turned his head, meeting Chen Xun's gaze.

The old man winked at him, gave him an encouraging smile, and then reached out as if to brush away imaginary dust from his knees.

[Stan Lee's favorability +2, current favorability 52]

Just as he made this casual little movement, an attribute ball shimmering with soft golden light slowly fell from his body.

[Legendary Aura +10]

gold!

A legendary attribute ball!

Chen Xun's heart skipped a beat, and he almost held his breath.

He suppressed his excitement and immediately absorbed the energy with his mind.

A powerful and creative energy flowed into his body.

This is not just about improving acting skills, but more about a deeper understanding and resonance with the "soul of the character," making fictional characters real and believable.

This feeling was more profound than when he absorbed any purple or blue attribute orbs.

Stan Lee seemed oblivious, continuing to chat and laugh with director Branagh.

Chen Xun stood still, feeling the newly integrated legendary power within his body.

Watching that legendary figure who created countless heroes, now strolling around the film set like an ordinary old man.

His heart was filled with respect and gratitude.

This trip to New Mexico for location shooting was totally worth it!
