Chapter 9 Ningning's Guide
Chapter 9 Ningning's Guide
The Shiraishi family home is a detached house, which is the most common two-story house in Japanese anime, with bedrooms upstairs and functional areas downstairs.
As Yukimiya Natsune walked out of the bedroom and down the stairs, her T-shirt billowed up as she walked quickly, making her feel uncomfortable and a little sore.
This made her somewhat regretful; she shouldn't have sculpted the model so big. With his boyish form, she only needed to think about how to shape him, but as a young girl, she had to consider many more things.
I should start planning to buy a bra sooner rather than later.
Upon reaching the ground floor, one is greeted by a long corridor and four doors. Japanese architecture places great emphasis on spatial partitioning, with many functional areas being separately separated. These four doors correspond to the living and dining room, toilet, bathroom, and storage room.
Opening the door to the living and dining room, Yukimiya Natsune poked her head in, searching for the direction of the sound.
Her movements were very discreet, trying her best not to let Sakura Nene notice.
Even though she was him, both of them knew that his sister had a lot of complaints about her.
She didn't plan to provoke her sister for the time being. She originally planned to wait until she finished her part-time job at the juvenile gymnastics center and came home before appearing in front of her sister to comfort, coax, and coerce her. But this is an unexpected situation.
Her azure eyes swept over the living and dining room, finding nothing amiss, before Yukimiya Natsune turned her gaze to the semi-open kitchen.
Sunlight streamed into the kitchen through the window, a gust of wind ruffled the corner of the apron on the sink, a soup spoon fell to the side, a wooden stool overturned, and a girl lay on the floor, her face filled with terror.
A black beast-like shadow pressed down on the girl's chest, making a gurgling sound from its throat, baring its sharp teeth, its eyes flashing with cold light, and leaning down towards the girl's throat.
Meow~
The black cat stuck out its tongue and licked Sakura Nene's chin, then lowered its head and rubbed its furry head against her.
"Ah—!" The girl's scream echoed throughout the room.
The black cat was startled by the cry, and it shrank back, its amber eyes staring incredulously at the girl on the ground, not understanding what it had done wrong.
Yukimiya Natsune sighed.
Sakura Nene doesn't like cats, or rather, Sakura Nene is afraid of all small animals.
However, all the little animals loved this little sister.
From childhood to adulthood, the incidents I've handled most for Yingyu Ningning have been taking away the cats and dogs that clung to her.
As for why Sakura Nene is afraid of small animals, Yukimiya Natsune has no clue either.
It's possible that when the girl was 3 years old, one night she was being too noisy, and he used the legend of the cat-faced old lady to scare her into going to sleep.
It's possible that when the girl was 4 years old, she dragged him to Halloween and was so scared by his pig-headed costume that she was afraid to go out.
It's also possible that when the girl was 5 years old, her stepfather, who was also her biological father, was involved in a car accident. After investigation, the police said that he probably swerved to avoid a small animal that darted out from the roadside, causing the vehicle to lose control.
The zoo was a horror house for the girl; the exaggerated animal patterns and images, while harmless, were still met with her rejection. The only exception was the octopus sausages, presumably because they tasted delicious.
"Meow?" The black cat jumped off the girl's body, rolled over next to her, and exposed its belly.
This blatant temptation was no different from Sadako crawling out of the TV in the girl's eyes. She used both hands and feet to escape quickly, shrinking into a corner with a look of terror in her eyes.
Yukimiya Natsune could clearly see the grievance and sorrow in the black cat's eyes.
She went into the kitchen and picked up the black cat from the floor.
"Meow meow meow." The black cat perched on her shoulder and meowed several times, as if it were complaining to her.
Yukimiya Natsune ignored it and shoved it outside the windowsill.
"If you come any closer, I'll stew you!" She poked the black cat's head hard.
The black cat leaped off the windowsill, walked out of the Shiraishi house, and looked back every three steps. It couldn't understand why the two people in this house were so cold-hearted; even a home visit could be turned away—it was too disheartening for a cat.
Yukimiya Natsumi doesn't have a problem with cats and dogs. If she encounters one on the street, she wouldn't mind spending a can of food to support the kitten's business. But her younger sister is at home right now, so it's not a good idea.
She closed the gauze window and turned around.
Sakura Nene had already stood up and was looking at her helplessly.
The wild woman she had been unilaterally hostile to suddenly appeared as a divine being, subduing a tiger and saving her. The girl didn't know how to react.
Yukimiya Natsune picked up the soup spoon from the ground, grabbed the apron from the sink, and quickly scanned the area to determine what had happened to her sister.
A black cat peeked out the window, asking if she wanted any services. The girl took off her apron to shoo it away, but the black cat, impatient, treated it as if she were undressing.
Then the kitten threw itself into Ningning's arms, and Ningning tumbled and crawled away.
After tying an apron on the girl, Yukimiya Natsune patted her head: "Next time, just call me."
Her movements and tone of voice were very familiar to Sakura Nene.
The girl lowered her head and whispered, "Okay, unnie..."
Wait, this isn't my brother!
Using such a disguise to get close to me is truly despicable! Is this the ultimate JK (high school girl) maneuver?! No wonder my brother couldn't resist!
Sakura Nene slapped Yukimiya Natsune's hand away, revealing her small canine teeth: "Thank you for what happened earlier, but I will never approve of your relationship with my brother!"
After saying that, she grabbed Yukimiya Natsune's hands, rinsed them under the tap, and pushed the cunning high school girl out of the kitchen.
Yukimiya Natsune walked into the living room and glanced back at the girl.
What could possibly happen between her and him? Even if there were, would a matter between them even count?
They are clearly siblings, but they can't acknowledge each other. Is this what the protagonists in melodramatic dramas feel like?
Yukimiya Natsune sighed, looked upstairs and then at the kitchen, sat down on the living room sofa, and turned on her PS5.
The Shiraishi family wasn't wealthy; in fact, they were somewhat strapped for cash, but they could still afford some entertainment equipment. Next to the white PS5 was his sister's limited edition Splatoon Nintendo Switch.
In the kitchen, Yingyu Ningning first checked her curry, washed the soup spoon, and then cautiously looked out the window to make sure that the shameless black cat hadn't returned. She breathed a sigh of relief.
Leaning against the cupboard, she stared at the curry pot. All around was quiet, except for the sound of the flames on the stove, which made her feel a little lonely.
If my brother were home, he'd probably be playing video games in the living room.
Just as she was thinking this, she heard the sound of a game console starting up coming from the living room.
As she approached the kitchen doorway, she glanced at the sofa, where the wild woman was sprawled out playing video games.
She's even copying her brother in this aspect!
If it weren't for her bulging chest, Sakura Nene would have thought that the other party was a legendary monster who would replace humans and wanted to replace her own brother!
Thinking about this, the girl became a little scared. She hid behind the cabinet and carefully observed the figure on the sofa, looking for evidence that the person was not human.
No evidence of inhumanity was found, but the more the girl looked at the wild woman, the more familiar she seemed, and she was certain that she had seen her before.
The living room sofa was far away and she couldn't see clearly. Yingyu Ningning crossed her arms and reviewed the scene in her mind, recalling the moment when the wild woman put an apron on her.
The other person squatted in front of her, their long golden hair scattering in the wind, dazzling and bright. A pair of hands, even whiter than hers, wrapped around her waist and tied a knot behind her back.
These aren't the main points. The main point is the smile the other person gives when they stand up and look up after the knot is tied.
"I remember now!" The girl clapped her hands vigorously.
"What are you remembering?" Yukimiya Natsune asked curiously, staring at the game screen.
"This is between my brother and me, I'm not telling you." The girl turned away, refusing to reveal anything.
