The car turned out of the mall's underground parking garage and merged into the traffic.
"Oppa, am I right? You look really good in this coat."
She turned to the side, crossed one leg over the seat, and faced Liu Zimu.
"Hmm, it looks good." Liu Zimu stared at the red taillights of the car in front of him and tapped his fingers twice on the steering wheel.
"Hmph~ You're just being perfunctory with me." Choi Sulli reached out and poked his right hand, letting out a hmph that sounded more like a coquettish tantrum.
"I just think it looks good. How could it not look good if you chose it?" Liu Zimu glanced at her.
Choi Sulli stared at his profile for two seconds, and then a smile slowly spread across her face.
Then he shrank into the seat, put his legs down, and curled up into a ball.
The car crossed the Hanjiang Bridge. The river was dark and gloomy, and the lights on both banks were reflected in the water, broken into pieces by the swaying waves.
Choi Sulli quieted down, resting her head against the car window, her breath creating a white mist on the glass.
She reached out and drew a smiley face on the fog, then a heart. After finishing, she tilted her head, looked at it, and smiled.
Liu Zimu glanced at her sideways: "Truth."
"Hmm?" She didn't turn around and continued drawing the third heart on the car window.
I have something to do the day after tomorrow.
Choi Sulli's fingers paused for a moment, then continued drawing, making the edges of the heart even sharper: "What is it?"
"Go to KBS."
"Why are you going to KBS?" She turned to look at him, her expression unchanged, but she stopped drawing with her fingers.
Liu Zimu stared at the road ahead, his fingers gripping and releasing the steering wheel: "Red Velvet has a performance on Music Bank the day after tomorrow, and I promised to go and support them."
The carriage was quiet for a few seconds.
Choi Sulli just stared at him and asked, "When did you agree to her?"
"It's when I go to the restroom."
"That was just now?" Choi Sulli tilted her head.
Liu Zimu opened his mouth as if to say something, such as that he was just there to show his support.
But Choi Sulli didn't give him a chance.
"Sure, go ahead." She put her legs down and sat up straight. "They're making a comeback on music show stages, so it's only right that you go support them. After all, they've been nice to you, and they even gave you a watch."
Liu Zimu glanced at her sideways, then looked at the watch on his wrist.
Choi Sulli was smiling, just like usual, but Liu Zimu still knew she was a little unhappy.
Are you sure?
"What do you mean, 'I'm sure of'?" Choi Sulli tilted her head to look at him. "It's not me going, it's you. Why are you asking me if I'm sure?"
Liu Zimu shut up.
After parking the car, I went into the elevator.
"Oppa," Sulli spoke again, her gaze still fixed on the shadow cast on the elevator's metal wall, "Are you here specifically to see Bae Joo-hyun, or to see the entire Red Velvet?"
"Go watch the stage performance; it's not like they're the only ones performing."
"So, we're going to see Bae Joo-hyun." The elevator arrived, the doors opened, and Choi Sulli stepped out first, leaving behind the words, "I have plans the day after tomorrow, otherwise I would have liked to go too."
Liu Zimu followed behind her, carrying shopping bags: "If you really don't want me to go, then I won't go."
In his past life, he was a broken person, and now Choi Sulli is the most important person to him. He doesn't want to lie to her and cares about her thoughts.
Choi Sulli rolled over on the sofa, looking up at him: "I didn't mean to stop you from going. Go ahead, you said you're just going to show your support, not for anything else. Weren't you a fan of hers before? It's only natural for fans to go see their idols perform."
Liu Zimu stared at her for two seconds: "You really think so?"
"Otherwise what?" Choi Sulli suddenly stood up again, walked to the kitchen, opened the refrigerator door, took out a bottle of water, unscrewed the cap, took a sip, and handed it to Liu Zimu. "Do you think I'm going to lock you up and not let you go out? You underestimate me, Choi Jinri."
"And I'm glad you didn't hide it from me, that makes me very happy."
Liu Zimu looked at her, trying to find a trace of reluctance on her face.
But Sulli's expression was flawless; she was smiling and relaxed.
Is this woman such a good actress? She must still be a little concerned, but he didn't call her out on it: "Okay, I'll go to the coffee shop after I'm done watching."
Choi Sulli gave a satisfied hum, walked over and took his hand: "Go take a shower, you smell like barbecue."
"You go first."
"Let's do it together then." She pulled him towards the bathroom. "Today I need to drain your battery first, so you won't misbehave outside."
The next morning, at Shiguang Coffee.
Liu Zimu stood behind the bar counter grinding coffee beans, the grinder humming.
There weren't many people in the shop.
Jin Qiutian is wiping the cups.
She wore a pink sweatshirt today and looked much more well-behaved than usual.
"Oppa, is there something wrong with your coffee grinder?" Jin Qiutian didn't even look up, swaying to the music absentmindedly as he ground the coffee. "It's a bit louder than last week."
"You could even tell that?"
"Of course, I'm in my prime." She looked up at him. "Last night, I saw the photos Shirley posted."
"What did she post?"
"Yes, it was posted on Instagram. It's a photo of her and senior actress Im Yoona." Jin Qiutian took out her phone, swiped a couple of times, and handed it over.
The screen displays Choi Sulli's account and photos from last night.
She was wearing that cream-colored down jacket, standing in front of the full-length mirror in the mall, holding an ice cream in her hand, her eyes crinkling with a smile, next to Lim Yoona.
The caption reads: "[I was so happy shopping with Yoona unnie today.]"
The word "happiness" was followed by a little heart.
Liu Zimu handed the phone back to her: "You check her messages every day?"
"I'm her loyal second-class soldier, of course I have to pay attention." Jin Qiutian stuffed her phone back into her bag. "Besides, unnie's outfits are so nice, what's wrong with me learning from her? I also want to dress pretty well when I debut in the future."
"You're thinking ahead."
"Of course, it's me! Jin Qiutian!" Jin Qiutian said, shaking her head proudly.
She wiped two more cups and then put them down; she was genuinely bored.
Because there are no customers in the store!
She and Liu Zimu were leaning on the bar counter, their eyes fixed expectantly on the door: "Oppa, have you been in contact with Joo-fa unnie lately?"
Liu Zimu glanced at her: "Why are you asking this?"
"Just ask her. She hasn't come to our store lately, and she hasn't messaged me either. She used to ask if I was in the store, but not once recently."
Liu Zimu did not respond.
Bae Joo-hyun hasn't been around lately, and there's been much less news from her, but he's also been replying less.
She cried so much during yesterday's phone call, and only after he agreed to go to Music Bank did she send him two more messages today.
"Oppa?" Jin Qiutian called out again.
"What's wrong now?"
"It's nothing," Jin Qiutian smiled, "It's just that Joo-hyun unnie seems to be working really hard lately, promoting her music every day. I saw their stage videos online, and she's lost some weight."
Liu Zimu hung the cleaned cup on the cup rack: "You seem to care about her quite a bit?"
"Of course! She gave me my favorite autographed photocard." Jin Qiutian tapped the table with her finger. "Seriously, I just don't understand, with your looks, are all these unnies blind?"
This made Park Min-young and Lee Jin-hee, who were also idle, secretly laugh.
Now all the employees in the coffee shop know that Liu Zimu knows many female celebrities, and they are happy to watch the show, so no one is gossiping outside.
Because of this, Li Zhenxi had privately spoken to the three newcomers.
Just as Liu Zimu was about to tidy up the golden autumn leaves, the wind chimes rang.
Two women entered, one after the other.
The one walking in front was wearing a long down jacket and only a hat.
She glanced around the store as she entered, her gaze finally settling on the bar area.
Goo Hara.
The person following behind was wearing a beige cashmere coat and had her hair down.
She peeked out from behind Goo Hara, her gaze also falling towards the bar.
Lee Ji-eun.
The golden autumn season suddenly came alive.
The female celebrity has arrived; the show is about to begin.
